Landscapes for learning

Supporting and enhancing knowledge

About imageAbout image

My name is Karla Wintle.

Having worked in educational settings in England and Australia for 23 years I see my path as one of adventurous wondering, enlightenment and advocation. With a commitment to social justice and children's rights, my research and work with others, depicts a post-modern approach to early childhood education. Knowing that we are living in uncertain times, the belief that uncertainty unifies with courage, transformation and innovation.

Landscapes for Learning was developed in the hope to inspire and provoke pedagogical dialogue across the educational landscapes. Just like a landscape it is a place where everyone is rich in colour, has their own intricacies and are open to discovery. Just like a landscape, the elements within ourselves are very different to that of the next person, and sometimes a little challenging to get through, but while looking closely at our own Landscapes of our learning we can also view them through the eyes of others.
